The CORROSIONBOX H is a horizontal test chamber with a clear pivoting cover for salt spray, condensation and cyclic corrosion tests. A corrosive solution is atomised through a nozzle in the centre of the chamber and distributed uniformly over the entire test zone via a fog diffusing tower. Available in five models from 600 to 2 000 litres.

The chamber structure is overall 10 mm thick Polypropylene, fully corrosion-resistant, with a double-wall insulated construction. The salt solution reservoir is integrated into the structure. An enhanced model with microprocessor control supports up to 15 programmable cyclic test programs — combining salt spray, water condensation, dry-off and ambient conditions in any sequence. Optional SO₂ dosing enables Kesternich testing. Industry 4.0 ready with remote diagnostics.

Salt Spray Test (NSS) — 5% NaCl solution atomised at 35 °C through a central nozzle. Fog diffusing tower ensures uniform distribution across the entire test zone. Available on all models.

AASS & CASS Tests — acetic acid salt spray (AASS) and copper-accelerated acetic acid salt spray (CASS) tests supported on all models via the plastic spray nozzle — ISO 9227 compliant.

Condensation Water Test — chamber bottom filled with demineralised water heated to evaporation. Water condenses on sample surfaces at 40 °C. Continuous condensation test available on all models.

Cyclic Corrosion Tests (Enhanced) — up to 15 programmable cycles combining salt spray, water condensation, dry-off and ambient phases. Dry Corrosion and Scab Corrosion cycles available via titanium panel option.

Prohesion Test (ASTM G85/A5) — available on enhanced models via humidifier bypass option. Combines diluted salt-ammonium sulphate fog with dry-off cycles to simulate industrial atmospheric corrosion.

SO₂ Dosing — Kesternich Test — external SO₂ dosing system with gas diffusing device installed in test chamber. Enables ASTM G85/A4 salt/SO₂ spray testing and Kesternich corrosion simulation (DIN 50018).

PP Corrosion-Resistant Construction — 10 mm thick polypropylene throughout, double-wall insulated. PPS plastic option available for CSA flam test compliance. Clear pivoting cover with water seal on all models.
