The UV BOX simulates the damaging effects of sunlight, rain and dew using UV fluorescent lamps combined with moisture condensation and optional water spray. In a few days or weeks of exposure, damage occurring in months or years of outdoor exposure can be reproduced — including colour change, gloss loss, chalking, cracking, blistering, brittleness, loss of strength and oxidation.

UV BOX subjects materials to alternating cycles of UV radiation and high-temperature humidity. The condensation system automatically purifies network water through a natural distillation process. Two lamp options are available: UVA-340 for the most realistic solar simulation in the critical 295–365 nm region, and UVB-313 for maximum acceleration. Up to 48 standard samples (75×150 mm) can be tested simultaneously. New compact design with high connectivity 4.0 and customisable sample holder.

UVA-340 Lamps — Best Solar Simulation
Offer the most realistic simulation of sunlight in the critical wavelength region from 295 nm up to 365 nm — the solar cut-off value. Ideal for realistic outdoor durability testing.
UVB-313 Lamps — Maximum Acceleration
Maximise acceleration using the most aggressive UV short waves. Ideal for fast comparative screening. Note: may produce too severe results for some materials.
Stable Spectral Distribution
UV fluorescent lamps maintain stable SPD even after thousands of hours — more reproducible results, less frequent replacements, and reduced operating costs versus xenon lamps.
Condensation System — Dew Simulation
Realistically simulates dew — responsible for most moisture in outdoor exposure. The evaporation-condensation process distils network water automatically, removing all impurities.
Water Spray Option — Rain Simulation
Optional spray system reproduces rain. Water pressure 2–6 bar, conductivity <5 µS/cm required. Spray cycles are programmable independently from UV and condensation phases.
Touch Screen Control Panel
Full touch screen with microprocessor control. Stores various test conditions, free programming of test standards, calibration sensor program, and complete test report generation.
High Connectivity — Industry 4.0 Ready
Ethernet standard, WiFi optional. Remote diagnostics, firmware upgrades, and real-time data sharing for Industry 4.0 smart manufacturing integration.
Customisable Sample Holder
Accommodates up to 48 standard samples (75×150 mm). Special sample holders can be manufactured to customer specifications for non-standard parts and components.
