Among its flagship technologies is the Destructive Paint Thickness Gauge, an exceptionally accurate and reliable system designed to measure the individual thickness of multiple paint layers applied on top of each other. The principle of operation is based on creating a circular crater through the coated surface, which reveals the layer structure for precise analysis.

This process is performed using a fully automated drilling unit uniquely developed by the company. The drill speed and depth can be finely adjusted based on the substrate material and the total film thickness.

Once the sample is prepared, the cross-section is captured using a digital microscope, and the image is then processed by proprietary analysis software. The result is a detailed measurement of each coating layer along the radius of the circular cut.

MEK Rub Tester – Solvent Resistance Evaluation

Another key innovation is the MEK Rub Tester, a laboratory device used to evaluate the solvent resistance of dry paint films, especially against aggressive solvents such as MEK (Methyl Ethyl Ketone) or acetone.

It automatically counts the number of rub cycles until the coating fails, providing a repeatable and objective assessment of chemical resistance.

This instrument features a precision-controlled solvent pump system that ensures even and consistent solvent application throughout the test process.
